Cardboard Crack: Dating

Once you’ve been a Magic player for a while, you can’t help but notice whenever these colors appear out of order.

If you don’t know, WUBRG stands for white, blue, black, red, and green, and it’s the order the colors appear on the back of a Magic card if you go around clockwise. In addition, this pattern nicely has ally colors next to each other while enemy colors appear across from each other (although the ally/enemy dynamic doesn’t really appear as much these days as it used to in older Magic design). Anyway, once you’ve been a Magic player for a while, you can’t help but notice whenever these colors appear out of order. Sometimes I’ll see something not even Magic related, and it will bother me when the colors are out of order (like the Olympic rings for example)!
