This comic came out March 31, 2013, not even a week after the last comic I shared for Girudo. During these early days, it felt like there was so much low hanging fruit for Magic jokes! This comic went even more viral than the last one. Looking back now, it’s funny that I chose Ultra Pro and Dragon Shield for the two sleeve manufacturers, since they both remain some of the biggest players in the business today. Soon after this comic was posted, Reuben Bresler reached out to me to do comics for the StarCityGames newsletter. I did the newsletter weekly for the next few years, opening Cardboard Crack to an even larger audience.
