If I had to pick my most famous (or maybe infamous) comic, it would probably be this one. Drawn September 2020, this was actually soon after I had restarted Cardboard Crack after a few year hiatus (maybe a story for another time). Anyway, I made this comic near the beginning of the “Universes Beyond” initiative because I was somewhat apprehensive about whether this new direction would eventually turn Magic into Fortnite. At the time, all of the pop culture references I made in the comic were not yet part of Universes Beyond, so it’s funny to see that SpongeBob and Iron Man both came true. Because of this comic, I am often asked at conventions how it feels to have predicted the future. The answer is, I would have rather been wrong, lol!
