Magic: the Gathering is becoming more mainstream, and that’s a good thing! Magic is fun and I like it when people have fun. But the issue that seems to be springing up alongside this is that Magic seems to be losing its ability to take risks. These days, it feels like WOTC doesn’t have confidence in itself to make Magic the funky (and, yes, cringe) game that it once was. We need to make Magic cringe; put the little weirdos back in Magic!
