In today’s episode of Muscles & Magic: The Gathering, I break down my full Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Commander deck — a 100% in-universe build using only cards from the TMNT Magic releases.

No outside staples.
No generic Commander cards.
Just pure turtle power.

This deck is led by Leonardo, the Balance and Michelangelo, the Heart, combining leadership, aggression, and teamwork into a strategy that fully embraces the spirit of the turtles.

Every single card in the deck comes from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles releases — including cards from the main set, the Commander deck, and Secret Lair drops.

The result is a deck that stays completely within the TMNT universe while still functioning as a real Commander strategy.

This build focuses on:

synergy between turtle characters

teamwork-style mechanics

board development and combat pressure

and embracing the flavor of the TMNT world from top to bottom

It’s a theme deck, but it’s also a real deck.
