Zooming back over a decade to the very end of Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal, we find kind of a weird duck for the last set in the show’s lifespan! Of course the anime cards didn’t have much of an impact, but it’s shocking how crazy the rest of the set was! Not just in the moment, but looking later on in time. In the present we had Artifacts running rampant and turning duels into games of chicken with “which backrow isn’t the Moralltach”, and years later we had Scythe locks making non-games! Not to mention cards like Majesty’s Fiend or Mecha Phantom Beast O-Lion! So how impactful was Primal Origin really? Let’s find out!
